AI Med is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the advancement of research in pharmaceutical sciences. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process.
Types of paper
Contributions falling into the following categories will be considered for publication: Full length articles, original research papers, review articles, short communications, technical notes, correspondence, discussions and editorials.
Please ensure that you select the appropriate article type from the list of options when making your submission.
Before you begain
♦ Ethics in publishing: Please review our Publishing Ethics page for comprehensive guidelines. We urge all authors to carefully examine these guidelines and disclose any potential ethical concerns, including those related to the research process such as involving human subjects, the use of animals, and other ethical considerations.
♦ Conflict of interest: All authors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, or other relationships with individuals or organizations from the past three years that could improperly influence, or be perceived to influence, their work.
♦ Submission declaration: Submitting an article implies that the work has not been previously published (other than as an abstract or part of a published lecture or academic thesis), is not currently under consideration elsewhere, and has been approved by all authors as well as by the relevant authorities where the research was conducted. If accepted, the article will not be published elsewhere in the same form, whether in English or any other language, without written consent from the copyright holder. To ensure originality, your article will be reviewed using the originality detection service at iThenticate's CrossCheck.
♦ Open access: All articles will be immediately and permanently accessible to everyone for free, allowing anyone to read and download them. To facilitate open access, this journal requires an open access fee (also known as an article processing charge, APC) to be paid by the authors or on their behalf (e.g., by their research funder or institution).
♦ Copyright and Licensing: AI Med operates under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license. Authors retain copyright but grant the journal rights to distribute the published article under this open access license.
Submission
All submissions to this journal are completed entirely online. Please follow the provided guidelines to prepare your article. Through the FAC homepage (https://www.ai-press.org/journal/am), you will be guided step by step through the process of creating and uploading the necessary files. All correspondence, including the Editor's decision and revision requests, will be conducted via email and the author's homepage, eliminating the need for physical copies.

Article structure
Authors must adhere to the following structure and formatting guidelines:

Title Page: Include the title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author’s email, and acknowledgments. The title should be concise (no more than 20 words) and avoid abbreviations.

Abstract: A structured abstract of no more than 300 words is required. It should briefly outline the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusion without citing references or using abbreviations.

Keywords: Provide 4-8 keywords that represent the main topics of your research. Avoid abbreviations and acronyms unless they are widely recognized.

Sections:
- Introduction: Introduce the research problem, its significance, and the objectives of the study.
- Materials and Methods: Describe the methodologies and analytical techniques used in sufficient detail to allow replication.
- Results: Present your findings clearly, using tables and figures as necessary.
- Discussion: Interpret the results in the context of existing research, highlighting the significance and implications.
- Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest future research directions.
- References: Use a consistent citation style (e.g., APA, AMA, Chicago). Include DOIs where available.

Reference Style
This journal uses AMA reference style.
Author Information
During submission, authors must ensure that their metadata, including full names, affiliations, and email addresses, match those on the title page. We encourage the inclusion of ORCID IDs.
Submission Files
Submit the following files through our online submission system:
- Manuscript File: This should be anonymized (no author details) to ensure a double-blind review.
- Title Page: Containing author details, affiliations, and acknowledgments.
- Cover Letter: A brief letter summarizing the significance of the work and its relevance to the journal’s scope.
- Response/Rebuttal Letter (for revisions): Address the reviewers' comments point-by-point, highlighting changes made in the manuscript.
Figures, Schemes and Tables
Tables and figures can be included with captions within the main body of the manuscript. However, figures should also be uploaded separately as high-resolution files.
Reproduction of Published Material
Authors must obtain permission to reproduce any material (e.g., figures, tables) that is not their own or falls under third-party copyright. Proper acknowledgment is required for all reproduced content.
Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise American English. Authors may opt for professional language editing services to enhance clarity, although this does not guarantee acceptance.

Independence in Editorial Decisions
Maintaining editorial independence is of paramount importance, and FAC ensures that there is no interference with editorial decisions. All articles published by FAC undergo a rigorous peer review process, assessed by our independent editorial boards. FAC staff are not involved in the decision-making process regarding manuscript acceptance. When an academic editor makes an editorial decision, it is expected to be based solely on the following criteria:
- The appropriateness of the selected reviewers;
- The thoroughness and relevance of reviewer comments and the author's response;
- The overall scientific quality of the manuscript.
